Leighton Channell

Leighton Channell joined the Law Office of Russell W. Wall in 2018. Practicing in the areas of criminal law, wills, probate, and real estate law, Leighton’s primary focus includes criminal defense, judicial and non-judicial tax foreclosures, and quiet titles. He also serves as Solicitor of the Municipal Court for the cities of Greensboro, Union Point, Siloam, White Plains, and Woodville. Leighton is admitted to practice before all of Georgia’s state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

 Leighton graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Economics and Management. He attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in 2006. Prior to joining the Law Office of Russell W. Wall, Leighton worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office.

Leighton has deep ties to Greene County, where he has lived most of his life. He and his wife, Sharon, reside in Greene County and attend First Baptist Church of Greensboro.
